HANDGUN I is a beginner handgun course where you will learn the most fundamental safety and shooting skills.

Students will receive lessons on the safe use, cleaning, transporting and storage of a pistol.

This course will satisfy 8 Hours of training for Calaveras, Contra Costa, Solano, Sutter, Trinity or Yolo County to obtain a California concealed carry permit.

If your county requires 16 hours of training. You will also need to take the NRA Basic Pistol Course. Counties requiring 16 hours of training include : Napa, Sacramento and Shasta.

If you need the 16 Hour CCW Training Course, please sign up ONLY for the NRA Basic Pistol Course AND check the box indicating you are taking the course for the 16 Hour CCW requirement.
