Not everyone will qualify for the Application Submission Seminar.

If you do not qualify for the Application Submission Seminar, that is not a determination that you cannot get a permit.

Your first cost is Live Scan for your background check. Next, you may decide to take your CCW training course. Or wait for Contra costa Sheriff's office to approve you for training. Cost of training is 230.00. Currently Contra Costa CCW fee is $160.00. Your total cost for the first two-year permit is approximately $510.00
This includes any arrest or charges, no matter the out come.
Since you have some type of an arrest or charges. Getting a personal review of your criminal history, could help in filling out the application and missing any of the details. It takes about a week to get a copy mailed to you and cost 40.00

You will need to disclose any vehicle accidents in the past five years, no matter who was at fault.
DUI can have either a 3 or 5 year probation period.
